Hi! Iām Natalie
I am a mother, partner, birthworker, and seeker.
I was raised in the intensity of New York City, went to college outside of Chicago, and, after discovering a deep need to be close to nature, made my way to Colorado. I began my birthwork journey as a doula and lactation counselor, and chose to widen my ability to work with individuals by becoming a registered nurse. As a nurse I have worked at major hospitals on labor and delivery units and at an outpatient clinic providing reproductive health care services.
In 2024, with my first pregnancy, I planned a homebirth. After a day of laboring at home, I made an informed decision to transfer to a hospital. My personal experience in labor and birth helped me understand even more deeply how essential it is for women to feel empowered in their birthing decisions.
As a birthworker, I have seen how strongly connected we as mothers are to our lineages. I come from Norse Germanic peoples in Sweden and England and from the Carpathian mountain Jews of Ukraine and Hungary. In dialogue with my ancestry, I find grounding and wisdom.
While I am physically in Colorado helping bring new life into the world, I can be with you virtually anywhere in the world. It is an honor to walk alongside you on your birth, postpartum and motherhood journey.
